SYNOPSIS: Translating scientific knowledge into industrial practice is one of the goals of the AME Team, so Matt Carlson, communications coordinator for the AME Team, really has his work cut out for him. He is one of a group of ecologists involved in the Adaptive Management Experiment Team. They are looking at ways to help industry reduce the negative impact of cumulative impacts on forest ecosystems.

The two centres will receive 7 million dollars each over 5 years to further develop expertise in carbohydrate science and machine learning.
